Sleep Study

So last night I had my sleep study. It was interesting to say the least. I wasn't really sure what to expect because I don't really know anyone who has ever had one. I arrived at the facility at 7 pm. When I got there the tech showed me to my room, which was very homey.. I had a queen size bed, a recliner, a tv tray, a celling fan with a dimmer switch on the wall next to the bed, and a 32 inch flat screen tv with basic satellite. So when I first got there I had to watch a video about what was going to happen. Simple enough. Then the tech came in and explained to me how it was going to work, and to finish filling out some paper work. So he said he would give me a 5 minute warning of when he would be in to attach me to my leads. I watched about 30 minutes of tv before he gave me my warning at which point I had to go get into my pjs and get ready for bed. It took about 45 minutes for all the leads to be attached. I felt like an alien. There were sensors in my nose and around my chest and stomach. I slept pretty good being attached to all the wires. I was woken up 3 times by the tech having to fix leads. About 6:30 in the morning the tech came and woke me up for the day. So all in all it was a pretty good experience. I should know the results either Wednesday or Thursday.  Next up... Psych eval...
